The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with everything you could need. The surrounding area is very picturesque. Downstairs we could use a comfortable lounge to relax in and connect to wifi, with a beautiful view over the river. Outside there were picnic tables and we could see boats, swans, and a waterfall.

Breakfast an excellent buffet/continental. Tea and coffee facilities, comfy bed and pillows in room, fridge, Safe if needed, iron and board, desk and comfy chair. The view from Juliet balcony best of all! Right next to R Avon, Willow tree, and giant, working Mill wheel. Big light open communal lounge area with big sofas, overlooking river. “Spot the famous singer” pictures on the wall of the dining room, again views of river, and Mill wheel, access to terrace area and picnic benches on grassy river bank. Staff very hard-working and unfailingly friendly and helpful. Delightful stay.

The hotel was in a very scenic location in a converted water mill. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Tea and coffee were complimentary in the room and there is a fridge. The beds are extremely comfortable. The bathroom was adequate although we had difficulty releasing the plugs in both bathrooms a d required maintenance twice. Overall a very pleasant stay

Hotel was just beautiful, the garden was just amazing, room spotless & good size, really hot but a fan was proved so not a problem, planning on coming back & staying again, only fault was breakfast, no cooked breakfast, but i never read itinerary properly breakfast comes free, it is nice, cereals, croissants, fresh juices, tea & coffee, toast, Ham, good Ham to, cheese & boiled eggs so can't complain about that, but I do enjoy a cooked breakfast when away, but won't put me off returning, & there is two pub restaurants a stones throw away, you can actually see one from the garden so you can always go there, bus stop at top of rd 5-10min ride to Town Centre, nice day out Bath is breathtaking, but lovely to return back to Hotel to the peace & tranquility of mother nature & the sound of the River, my kind of Heaven, plus Solsbury Hill were Peter Gabriel had his spiritual Awakening is a 5 min drive away, the view was amazing from up there

The main part of the Hotel was lovely but be careful that you don't get put in the Lodge "annexe". It's a beautiful location with amazing views and the staff were lovely and helpful. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. I recommend the omelette for breakfast 😋. For a quiet weekend getaway, it is ideal. I LOVED watching people pay their tolls into a little cup held by the 2 attendants and watching the river and the mill wheel.

The hotel with its mill wheel still operating has a certain 'old world' feel to it. And It's situated just outside the main part of the city. But near to a river, fields and a quirky toll bridge. There are lots of buses going in and out of the city centre, except early on Sunday mornings! Otherwise take a car or get a taxi (about £10) from the main train and bus station.

Room on ground floor of the main building (not the separate 'Lodge'). Well located for entrance, reception and breakfast room. View over car-park, not the river - but not really an issue for me. Clean, well presented & good facilities provided in bedroom/bathroom. Spacious breakfast room with large picture windows. No full-English but very acceptable buffet choices; cereal, fruit, yogurt, bread/toast and basic Contintental options. Tea/coffee/fruit juice. I was able to arrange car-parking (£10 for stay) on arrival and before book-in - and then leave the car for duration of my stay in Bath. FYI a taxi to and from Bath cost £10/£12. Walking, via the nearby Kennet and Avon Canal, took me just under one hour. I never used the bar and I'm not sure the restaurant was open during my stay - but there were popular pubs/bars/restaurants in easy walking distance (Bathampton Mill - 5 mins; The George, Bath Hampton - 10 mins)

Beautiful location Stunning walks along the canal and river which run close by. 50 mins walk into the Beautiful city of Bath. The hotel is on the site of an old mill. Got an upgrade to a better room. Cost more. The grounds around the hotel are lovely and it's bordered by a medieval toll Bridge. Spent 2 lovely days here.

Our stay at Hotel was overwhelmingly positive, thanks to the gentle and courteous staff. The hotel boasted beautiful views, and we appreciated the consistently clean and well-maintained environment, along with the reliable hot water and spacious room.
